Alert devout Hindus while submitting a representation demanding the cancellation of the program, alerted the police about the conversion designed by the Christians through it. Later the police gave an order to cancel the program. Hindus offered gratitude at the feet of God for this success. Mr. Abhijit Bhor from Thane took the initiative to tackle the problem. 1. The gathering was to take place from the 16 to 18 may. Many false promises made by the organisers were Jesus makes the disabled walk, the blind are able to see because of Jesus etc.(By foisting the anti-superstition bill on the Hindus, now, where were the congress people during this propaganda ? 2. About 70 to 80 Hindus had been collected for this gathering. On the third day the actual conversion ceremony was to take place, but the moment the devout Hindus got to know of this, they filed a complaint at the police station and requested the police to stop this ceremony.
3. Thereafter the police went to the spot for confirmation, after which they organised a joint meeting between the convener Father Suse of the said gathering and the devout Hindus. The devout Hindus silenced Father Suse when they were able to prove with evidence that the claims were false.
4. The devout Hindus were able to convince the police that the Christian gathering was an attempt at conversion after which the police ordered Suse to call off the program.
