Subject: 11th July, 2015—World-wide Rally For The Honour Of A Kidnapped Girl In West Bengal, India
Those of you are in touch with us, would recall we had sent out a circulatory mail on “West Bengal Needs To Be For The Sake Of India And Inspite of Mamata Banerjee”, issued on April 22, 2015.
That we have not been off the mark now comes clear with the proposed world-wide rally on July 11, 2015, on the issue of kidnapping and rape of one minor girl, named Tuktuki Mandal, kidnapped on May 4, 2015.
Incidentally, we had just been planning to write on rapes in West Bengal under the current political dispensation after reading an impressive write-up in the Bengali daily “Dainik Statesman” by a well-known intellectual, who had been in the lead to usher in Trinamul government in protest against the Marxist misrule in the State suffocating the people. Mamata Banerjee has certainly outdid the Marxists in their own game, particularly in cultivating and vociferously promoting the Muslims in the State, even by converting herself into Islam, The latter now plays it back on Mamata and call the tune in all respects, not equalled in any other State in India. The write-up in question states that rapes are a daily affair in the State. When asked, the Chief Minister’s standard reply, the writer says, is “All this is being done by the “Maobadi”.
Tapan Ghosh of Banga Samhati has been following the case from the first day. But, the State police just could not be moved to take any action against the Trinamul-led Muslim goons. Incidentally, they (Banga Samhati) need financial help also.
Now, could we urge the State Chief Minister to take, even at this belated stage, appropriate action against the offenders, who are TMC supporters only?
Secondly, we also urge the Union Home Minister to examine without any political motive whether it is not time to impose President’s Rule in West Bengal. The proposed world-wide demonstration on June 11, 2015, has certainly besmirched and lowered the image of India before all. A copy of the call for this demonstration, issued by “Save West Bengal Daughters” is attached.
