Priya Ravi joined VHPA new National Office Administrator.

Priya is not new to the VHPA family. She has been one of the key contributors to the Satsangs, Bal Vihars, Family camps and virtually any program we do in Boston area. Her husband, Ravi Sreedhar, is a scholar and data scientist. They have two children, Pavitra and Preetham.

Priya received her Bachelors of Arts in Corporate Secretaryship (COO) from India and a Diploma in computerized accounting & end-user computing  from First  Computers, India. She worked for a private company from 1995-1996 as a medical billing specialist.

Priya Ravi will be supported in her office functions by Sanjay Mehta and Abhaya Asthana. Generally these functions include: Picking up mail from P.O. Box 600, 460 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821 and processing it. Membership management – Many aspects including membership data base entry, keeping member data current, mailing renewal letters, thank you letters, patron and life membership kit, etc. Processing donations and membership checks, including depositing checks into NEW JERSEY NATIONAL ACCOUNT, issuing receipts to the donors and generating contributions report for the National Treasurer. Processing SEVA / RELIEF checks, including depositing checks into SEVA ACCOUNT, issuing receipts to the donors and generating contributions report for the National Treasurer. Processing SUPPORT-A-CHILD (SAC) checks, including depositing checks received into SAC account, issuing receipts to the SAC donors, generating report for SAC office; and

general administrative functions including handling queries, mailing various documents (calendars, Diwali cards, Diwali letters, election nominations and ballots etc).  Finally, sending emails to membership and officers as requested by General Secretary and President.
