Ancient temple of ‘Malganga Mata’ at Nighoj Kund demolished !

Dadar_Nagar_HaveliNagar : Trustees Devasthan have pulled down 1800 years old temple of ‘Malaganga Devi’ at the ‘Kunda’ in Nighoj, in Paraner Taluka where there is the world-famous ‘’Ranjankhalage’. (If trustees of temple themselves have no feelings towards the Deity or temple, what else is expected ? The situation created due to lack of ‘Dharma-shikshan’ can be changed only with establishment of Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) On top of it, Paraner police are also trying to avoid taking down complaint of priest, Tukaram Gayake about hurting religious sentiments of Hindus and so far, no case has been registered. (It shows that Hindus’ religious sentiments have no value in view of police. Such police will be asked to undertake rigorous spiritual practice for whole life, by way punishment, in Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Religious festivals like ‘Sharadeeya Navaratri Fetsival’, ‘Chaitra Navaratri Festival’, ‘Kalashtami Jagaran’, Gondhal etc. are regularly celebrated in this temple. A demand has been made to file cases against 22 persons including trustees in this case.
News in detail.

1. On 24th March, at 2.00 p.m., bull-dozer was run over Devi’s ‘Tandala’, ‘Homa-kunda’, Deepmala etc. The priest tried to oppose but no attention was paid to him.
2. The trustees had not taken any permission from Gram-Panchayat and no resolution was passed to that effect in ‘Gram-sabha’ meeting; nor was permission of Charity Commissioner taken for such demolition.
3. Shri. Tukaram Gayake has lodged a complaint demanding to dissolve the present board of trustees and immediately stop on-going construction. He has warned to undertake hunger-strike from 7th April; if necessary steps are not taken by the concerned.
4. Police have, however, paid no heed to Gayake’s demand and in fact, advised him to not undertake hunger strike giving excuse of election code of conduct. (Firstly, police do not file case and oppose to even agitation decided to be undertaken in lawful manner. Is it not Mughal like behavior of police ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
