Volunteers at Forum for Hindu Awakening (FHA) have received several complaints from Hindus regarding the screening of the controversial Bollywood movie, ‘PK’, at the Embassy of India, Berlin on Wednesday, 22 July 2015.

FHA immediately wrote an appeal letter addressed to the Ambassador, Embassy of India, Berlin, informing about the anti-Hindu and anti-India nature of this movie. The letter also highlighted the worldwide protests by Hindus, including Hindu Saints SwamiSwarupanand Saraswati and Yogaguru Baba Ramdev.
Finally, appeal letter questions the ulterior motive behind screening of this anti-Hindu movie at Indian Embassy by asking, “What message the Embassy of India, Berlin is trying to send to the masses by screening of such films, which are not educational nor in the interest of India ?”

FHA did not receive a response to its appeal letter from the Embassy of India, Berlin. Consequently, FHA appeals all supporters of Hinduism to protest against the screening of the anti-Hindu Bollywood movie by the Embassy of India, Berlin. We at Forum for Hindu Awakening (FHA) have received several complaints from Hindus regarding the screening of the controversial Bollywood movie, ‘PK’, at the Embassy of India, Berlin on Wednesday, 22 July 2015.
We would like to bring to your attention the anti-Hindu nature of this movie, and how it had been widely protested by Hindus worldwide. Hindu Saints, including Swami Swarupanand Saraswati and Yogaguru Baba Ramdev, and Hindu leaders equally have protested to ban this movie as it insults Hindu Deities, its rituals and Hindu Saints. This movie not only tries to malign Hinduism, but also sets a bad precedence by stereotyping Hindu Shaastra (spiritual science as per the Hindu scriptures) as hollow and defective.

This movie also has shades of anti-nationalism. Some of the reasons that this movie should be completely banned and not screened anywhere in the world are : 1. The movie insults Hindu Deities, Saints and customs, 2. It encourages Love Jihad, 3. It glorifies the enemy of India, and 4. It is suspected to have anti-national links.
The screening of this movie is bound to raise questions like, “What message the Embassy of India, Berlin is trying to send to the masses by screening of such films, which are not educational nor in the interest of India ?”. We therefore urge you to cancel the screening of the movie ‘PK’ at your Embassy.
