JAMMU: Bajrang Dal (BD) held a protest against the curtailment of Amarnath Yatra period as demanded by separatists.
The Dal activists condemned Geelani’s remark on Amarnath Yatra and waving of Pakistan flags by separatists in Valley.
Protesters said such anti-national elements created an atmosphere of violence in Valley especially in view of the coming Amarnath Yatra which would not be tolerated by the Hindu community.
They said nobody has potentiality to hurt sentiments of Hindu devotees and if anyone tries to do so, he will be taken seriously.
They demanded adequate security to the Amarnath pilgrimage and said that if any untoward incident will be occurred the whole responsibility lies on the shoulders of State Government.
The protesters demanded strict action against separatist leaders who can provoke anti-Hindu sentiments and wave Pakistani flags in Valley.
