Bajrang Dal protests stone pelting on Yatris

JAMMU: The activists of Bajrang Dal on Monday held a strong protest here at Press Club against stone pelting on the Yatris of Kheer Bhawani by anti-social elements at Khannabal in the Valley, in which four Yatris were seriously injured.
Bajrang Dal activists were led by organisation’s Provincial Organiser Naveen Sudan. They said that pilgrims not only from the country but also from abroad visit the Valley for paying obeisance since it the worship place of Kashap Rishi and hundreds of other Hindu saints, Devis and Devtas.
Naveen said that the safety and security of these pilgrims is the responsibility of the State Government which has failed to take appropriate action against the anti-social and anti-national elements.
He demanded that Government should take stern action against such elements and any leniency in handling such situation is likely to cause lasting damage to the law and order situation.
