Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat, PP Sarsanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak
Sangh, is a third-generation swayamsevak. Born at Chandrapur in Vidarbha, Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat finished his degree in veterinary sciences and became sangh pracharak in 1974. After working in Vidarbha and Nagpur region, he became all India shareerik (physical training) pramukh in 1994. From 2000-2009, he was general secretary of RSS. In March 2009, he became 6th sarsanghachalak of RSS. An eloquent speaker, he has toured widely abroad in countries like Kenya, south Africa, UK, USA and carribbean countries.
