1 Hindu dead, 17 injured
Kausudi, Parbhani (Maharashtra) : Hindus were brutally attacked by fanatics due to some dispute over land; killing one Hinduand injuring 17; condition of 3 Hindus out of them is serious. (Extreme appeasement of fanatics by all political parties has led to their becoming so insolent and being after lives of Hindus. 1. Narayan Ahilaji Bahirat obtained 15 acres of land under Land Reform Act which was owned by Shamiuddin Rafiuddin Sheikh from Kausadi.
2. Since then, the land is in possession of Bahirat’s legal heirs.
3. Shamiuddin’s son Hafizuddin has filed a case in Court against Bahirats being given possession of the land. Hafizuddin and his gang attacked Bahirat famly although the matter is in Court when they were working on the farm. 4. The fanatics beat Bahirat family members warning that the land belonged to them; while injuring 17 persons.
5. All injured persons were brought to District hospital but out of the injured persons, Sudam Mahaji Vikhe (age-65 yrs) died; his left leg was also broken.
6. Among the injured, condition of Rambhau Lokhande, Gulab Bhise and Sonaji Jivane is serious.
