Register for the popular event- sample free food, watch mesmerizing performances, and let the children play traditional games!
 
When: September 30, 2017 – 11 AM – 5 PM
Where: North Brunswick High School
Theme: Glimpses of the States of India
250 Children are expected to participate in cultural programs and activities
Completely Free if registered before September 17, 2017
($5 after September 10; $6 at the door)
If you register on line, you do not need to bring a printed copy of your ticket.
 
Dive Deep Into Hindu Culture
Experience the Beauty of India (Bharat) Without Actually Travelling to India!
Features:
• Exhibition – Outstanding exhibition illustrating Hindu heritage.
• Family Photo Booths – Unique opportunity to take pictures with backdrops of India.
• Food – Free food samples from various states of India, along with food for purchase.
• Entertainment Program – Program showcasing the states of India, designed for everyone.
People who don’t know much about India (or its states) will learn a lot about the states that are showcased. It is like going on a tour without traveling to India! For those who know India well, it will be a nostalgic experience.
• Indian Games – Children will play traditional Indian games under adult supervision.

Hindu Heritage Day-2017
 
Hindu Heritage Day Objectives:
1. Get children interested in learning more about Hindu Heritage and Values
2. Provide understanding of Hindu Values to American population
3. Promote Dharmic Values in the local population
4. Engage young Hindus and the families in volunteer and community activities
5. Provide a platform for children to perform their skills (Baal Vihar learnings, Arts, cultural knowledge and folk performing arts)
6. Provide a forum for commercial activities related to Hindu Heritage
7. Create awareness about VHPA in the community and. Provide a platform for children to perform without competitive pressure
