DSP | Nasik | Sept 24, 2015:: Sanatan Sanstha is an organization spreading Sanatan Hindu Dharma. Nobody has a right to impose ban or stop its activities. In fact, demand to ban Sanatan Sanstha is wrong, stated ‘Pashchimanmay Dwaraka Sharada Peetha and Uttaramnay Jyotish Peetha’s ‘Pujya’ Swami Shri. Swarupanand Saraswati, while speaking to media persons.
Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Swarupanand Saraswati said,
- “Sanatan Dharma does not believe in violence.
- Find killers of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar and hang them as per the law; but it is wrong to impose ban on Sanatan.
- Students of Delhi University found out the birth-date of Prabhu Shriramchandra. It is good news.
- It shows existence of Prabhu Shriramchandra; so congratulations to the University !
- It is a hard slap to those who say that Prabhu Shriramchandra or Shrikrushna were fictitious characters. It also shows Hindus have ancient history. It is not that history starts from period of which there are records but it should be remembered that Hindu Dharma dates back to more ancient time.”
Won’t let politics decide Sanatan ban: Devendra Fadnavis.
Prafulla Marpakwar | TNN | Mumbai | Sep 23:: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Tuesday that a decision on whether to ban theSanatan Sanstha will not be taken under political pressure.
“We will not succumb to political pressure. Investigations in the Govind Pansare murder case are still in progress. Law enforcing agencies have secured important leads. If there is concrete evidence, we will not hesitate to ban SanatanSanstha. In that event, we will take a decision without fear or favour,” Fadnavis told TOI.
He said that on the basis of preliminary information, a CID team is monitoring the activities of the accused, who is in police custody. “CID sleuths checked two lakh call records and on the basis of specific information the accused was arrested. I am sure that in the days to come, they will come to specific conclusion on the involvement of the accused in the murder of Pansare,” Fadnavis said.
Endorsing the views expressed by the CM, revenue minister Eknath Khadse said it will be premature to ban Sanatan Sanstha. “We will have to mobilize adequate evidence before taking a decision. Our decision must stand the scrutiny of law. If we succumb to political pressure and ban the Sanstha, it will be a bad decision. In the past, organizations were banned, but the government lost in court,” he said.
Former Union home secretary R K Singh, who is now a BJP MP from Bihar, said the previous (Congress-NCP) government had sent a proposal to ban the Sanstha, but it was rejected because of lack of evidence. “There was no adequate evidence, therefore it was rejected,” R K Singh said. Why ban Sanatan because of one person?: Goa CM.
GoaNeswDotCom | Panaji | Sept 23, 2015:: Goa chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar has ruled out ban on Sanatan Sanstha in the tourist state.
A demand in this regard was made by his own Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Vishnu Wagh yesterday.
“You cannot blame the whole organisation because one of its members is suspected to be involved in a murder case”, Parsekar said while talking to media today.
Sameer Gaikwad, a Sadhak of Sanatan Sanstha, is presently being arrested by Maharashtra police, suspecting his involvement in the daylight murder of Com Govind Pansare in Kolhapur on 16 February.
The Maharashtra SIT is also looking out for two more Sanatan Sadhak, Rudra Patil and Sarang Akolkar alias Kulkarni, who are absconding since 2009, when the horrifying incident of bomb blasts had taken place in Margao (Goa).
Two Sadhak of Sanatan had died in the accidental blast of bombs they were carrying on the eve of Diwali night, on 18 October, allegedly to plant at the Narakasur competition in Margao.
Malgonda Patil, Rudra’s cousin and Yogesh Naik had died in the incident. However, all the six accused arrested in the case were released by Mapusa special court in 2013.
In fact the Maharashtra SIT suspects that absconding Rudra is the mastermind behind Com Pansare murder as well as killing of Prof M M Kalburgi, a Kannada writer, at his Dharwad residence on 30 August.
Shiv Sena and Sriram Sena extend their support to Sanatan Sanstha !
DSP | Mumbai | Sept 23, 2015:: – In the year 2010 also, there was demand to ban Sanatan Sanstha; but late Shiv Sena-Pramukh Balasaheb Thackeray warned through an Editorial in ‘Dainik Samana’ to stay away from this and not to harass Sanatan Sanstha; after which opposition to Sanatan slowly reduced. Later, Sanatan’s seekers were proved innocent. Now along with the so-called progressive faction, Congress is also demanding ban on Sanatan. An Editorial has been published in ‘Dainik Samana’ in its issue dated 21st September under the title ‘Kutra, Makad, Bokad, Sanatan chi supari’ in Marathi, exposing anti-Hindu mask of the Progressives. Shiv Sena’s Party-Chief Shri. Uddhav Thackeray and Executive Editor, MP Shri. Sanjay Raut have supported Sanatan’s activities related to protection of nation and Dharma; leading to seething of the progressive faction. Shri. Abhay Vartak went to the office of ‘Dainik Samana’ and thanked Shri. Thackeray and Shri. Raut. Shiv Sena has always supported Sanatan; even in its difficult times. Shiv Sainiks from various districts have extended active support to back Sanatan’s activities. The Editorial published in ‘Dainik Samana’ has exposed massacres carried out by Congress and Communists; exposing their concern only towards Muslims.
Demanding ban on Sanatan is foolishness ! – MP Sanjay Raut.
Sanatan Sanstha is a Hindu organization engaged in spread of Spirituality. We have closely watched their activities. Com. Pansare’s murder has to be investigated and guilty should be stringently punished; but demanding ban on Sanatan only because it is a Hinduorganization is foolish. Sanatan Sanstha is not anti-national or like Al-Kayda or Laden. Sanatan’s activities have been Investigated many times. If any organization has aggressive ideology, it does not mean that it should be banned or it should be hanged.

DSP | Hubli (Karnataka) | Sept 23, 2015:: Sanatan is being falsely implicated with baseless accusations. Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti are doing good work. We are on the side of the Truth; therefore, seekers need not be afraid and continue their ‘sadhana’ as usual. Sriram Sena and other pro-Hindu organizations are with Sanatan, assured Shri. Pramod Mutalik, the Founder-President of Sriram Sena to seekers. Media is accusing Sanatan and the biased police is implicating it in Comrade Pansare’s murder case very clandestinely.
Shri. Mutalik paid a visit to Sanatan’s seva-kendra at Hubli and met seekers.
