Why are the powerful pro-Hindu Organizations keeping mum on glorification of Tipu Sultan ?

Hindus should now oppose with unity and force Bengaluru Municipal Corporation to cancel its plan of naming the road in Bengaluru after jihadi Tipu Sultan !

Bengaluru – During a press conference, the renowned historian Dr. Chidananda Murthy strongly opposed the decision of Bengaluru Municipal Corporation to name the main road in the city after fanatic cruel king Tipu Sultan. The press conference was also attended by Shri. Guruprasad, State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Karnataka and Shri. Dasharath Nandan, the President of ‘Indo-Japan’ Association in Karnataka.

Dr. Murthy said, “Aluru Vyankatrai is a well-known ‘Kannada ‘Kul-Purohit’. He had participated in the freedom fight drawing inspiration from Lokmanya Tilak. He has lot of Kannada literature to his credit which awakened love and respect towards Kannada language amongst people. It is, therefore, his insult that plan is being hatched to name the road after Tipu Sultan who promoted Urdu language neglecting Kannada. If such plan is not opposed, fanatic Tipu Sultan would become an esteemed personality in Karnataka.” Shri. Guruprasad of HJS said, “Tipu Sultan was cruel, fanatic, anti-Kannada king who was destroyer of temples. All pro-Hindu organizations will come together and stage agitations if attempt is made to give Tipu Sultan’s name.”
