How RSS and VHP are helping to develop a better India

So a week before an incident took place on one of the Metro city of India that was Kolkatta and you must have heard one of the NGO RSS was actively involved in removing the debris and to help the affected people from the area.So today through my blog I am gonna tell you How RSS(Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) along VHP(Vishva Hindu Parishad) are helping to develop a better India.

Okay so we all know that India has a current population of India is approx 1.2 billion and out of which more than 80% of people are Hindu so for the proper functioning of a large Country, It needs people to get up from their comfort zones, people  other then our government who can help us and bring as out from different dangerous situations and RSS(Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), Bajrang Dal(Part Of VHP) are joining there hands for the sake of the society.

The history Of RSS

RSS(Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) was started on 27th Sep 1925 by Shri Keshav Baliram Hedgewar as its headquarters at Nagpur Maharastra,India.

who was primarily associated with Hindustan Republican Association,After its formation it took part in many movements along with INC(Indian National Congress) against the  British rule?Hedgewar was arrested and served in prison two times. Now the Important part was that Hedgewar kept RSS away from the Indian Independence .M.S Golwalker became the leader of RSS and continued to strengthen the RSS.

The history of VHP

Vishwa Hindu Parishad RSSVishwa Hindu Parishad RSS

VHP as known as Vishva Hindu Parishad was started on 29 Aug 1964 and was founded by RSS leader Mr M.S Golwalker along with S.S Apte and Swami Chinmayananda  and has its headquarter at New Delhi,Chinmayananda was nominated as its president ,While S.S Apte was  nominated as its founding secretary . It was decided to be a no political organisation and no political party will get involved in it.

Bajrang Dal( Youth wing of VHP)

bajrang dal RSS

Bajrang dal is a Hindu organisation that forms as the youth wing of the VHP and also a member of the RSS. It was founded on 1 Oct 1984 at Uttar Pradesh and is responsible for running approx 2500 akharas throughout India which is similar to shakhas

as ruined by VHP. The Bajrang Dal slogan is Seva Suraksha Sanskriti i.e Service, safety and culture and its one of the main goal are to build a ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

and another goal is to protect India’s Hindu identity from dangers of communism,Muslim demographic growth and Christian conversion as well as the prevention of cow slaughter.

What does it feel to like a Volunteer at these Hindu Organisations

A member from Bajrang dal Jharkhand  ‘Rohit Srivastav’ told our editor “It feels better when you know you are doing something for the sake of your society and you know you are helping to develop a better tomorrow, Sometime we take a lot of criticism upon us from other caste organisations but we are still determined towards our goal” said a member of Bajrang Dal, Jharkhand.

International Exposure

Excluding to that The VHP has also shown its presence by opening sakes outside India currently, there are 7 international branches of VHP known by different names in countries like USA,UK,Germany,Canada,Australia,New Zealand and Fiji.

What we should know about these organisations which media channels doesn’t show you

RSS (1)People believe that these organisations are promoting casteism but what we should know that The RSS has advocated the training of Dalits and other backwards classes as temple high priests (a position that is traditionally reserved for Caste Brahmins and denied to lower castes). They argue that the social divisiveness of the Caste system is responsible for the lack of adherence to Hindu values and traditions and reaching out to the lower castes in this manner will be a remedy to the problem. The RSS has also condemned “upper caste” Hindus for preventing Dalits from worshipping at temples, saying that “even God will desert the temple in which Dalits cannot enter”. And another astonishing fact is that There is a small number of Muslim Kary Karta’s in RSS. They never get highlighted but it is true. Sickular media peddled lies over 60 years to typecast RSS as Hindu. They have diminished its identity as a Hindu right wing org. RSS is religion neutral.

The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) (translation: Muslim National Forum) is a Muslim organisation in India, affiliated to the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It was formed in 2002 at the initiative of the then RSS chief K.S. Sudarshan to allow the Sangh Parivar to reach out to Muslims.

The current Scenario of all the groups

Recently through the active protest of the Bajrang dal volunteers in Jharkhand against cow slaughtering The government has applied a banned on the cow slaughtering in Jharkhand,

Everyday somewhere activities like helping Hindus to grow or relief missions take places through out India In which RSS plays a key role.

Recently RSS was seen helping in the relief mission along with NDF and other government authorities to remove the debris and help the affected people through out the night in the Kolkata flyover tragedy.According to a Facebook post on RSS’ official page, close to 200 swayamsevaks (RSS workers) worked throughout the night in relief operations.

What can we expect from them in the near future?

We know that nobody has seen the future but we can expect from our Hindu organisations  that they will always  be a part of developing idea trying to develop our society as they are always trying.
