SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Muhammad Yaseen Malik has called for a complete shutdown and Lal Chowk march on June 23.
On June 23, 1952 RSS leader and Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder, Dr Shyama Prasad Mokerjee, had demanded complete integration of Kashmir with India.
“Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), Shiv Sena and other Hindu organisations will celebrate this day in Jammu and in other parts of India and even government functions will be organised. We appeal people to give a reply to these elements and observe complete shutdown on June 23,” Malik said.
