In one incident that took place in Karnataka, anti-naxalite squad fired at one truck transporting cows so as to stop it. Unfortunately, a Muslim person died in that firing. The Police Inspector, Deputy Police Inspector etc. paid compensation of Rs. 10 lakhs to the family of that person and filed a case against policeman from anti-naxalite squad for murder. In many such incidents, Karnataka Govt. is trying to pressurize ‘Gou-rakshaks’. We are, therefore, going to schools and trying to create awareness amongst students and parents towards protection of cows; explaining importance of cows.
