Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has felicitated the Hindu community living in Pakistan and other parts of the world on their festival of Raksha Bandhan.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, Hussain said that all the religions of the world preach mutual respect and the feeling of universal love and every religion refrains its followers from harming the fellow human beings without any reason.
“The festival of Raksha Bandhan is an expression of sublime love of a sister towards her brother and the protective care of a brother for his sister,” he said. Hussain urged the members of the Hindu community to offer special prayers for Pakistan on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
