  • If people feel that the State Government supported Khedekar, will they be wrong ?
  • People expect that such rulers should be punished by Courts !

Mumbai : ‘Every person should have respect towards all castes and creeds while staying under democratic governance. Writings by Purushottam Khedekar, the founder of Maratha Seva Sangh, are, prima facie, obscene, insulting and create rift amongst two communities; besides even degrading women.’ A complaint was lodged in the year 2012 against such writings and the Government should have taken action considering seriousness of the matter; but that was not done which is quite shocking. Justice Mrudula Bhatkar of High Court admonished Maharashtra Government by passing the above remarks.

In the two books written by Khedekar, he has written most disgraceful matter against Brahmins. These writings are not only objectionable; but also creating rift amongst Society and insulting women. A complaint to the above effect was lodged by Sou. Swati Jitendra Bapat from Devgad (Sindhudurga) with local police station. (Congratulations to Sou. Swati Bapat for lodging complaint against ‘Dharma-drohi’ writings! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat ) The complaint has been lodged against Khedekar and publisher, Kishore Kadu.

Khedekar has filed an affidavit and given clarification in the Court that it was not his intention to insult women; whereas Kadu has expressed regret over publishing such writings. Khedekar and Kadu have filed a petition in High Court, seeking anticipatory bail when the Court rebuked him on his writings in such manner.
