A partisan media and some aligned writers, artists are intentionally trying to make a hill of a molehill by raking up a forced upon debate about growing intolerance in the country.
One of the leading lights about rubbishing the argument is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living movement. He has been forthright in stating that India never was and never can be an intolerant country.
Dismissing questions raised about intolerance at a Twitter Townhall Sri Sri Ravi Shankar bluntly retorted that returning awards was not fair.
He said, “I disagree with this debate of intolerance. There are some elements, fringe elements in the country, but you can’t use that to say that the whole population of the country is becoming intolerant.”
