Rawalpindi– Civil Judge Rawalpindi has issued stay order against the demolition of 100 years old homes of Hindu community in the area of Cantonment Board Chaklala Rawalpindi (CBCR). The court has issued notices to defense Ministry and Cantt Board Chaklala administration summoned them on September, 23 and directed them to file replies. The petitioners including Akash Raj took the plea that their ancestors were settled in this settlement since the last century and their homes are now being demolished and they are being forced to evict them. They requested the court to restrain CBCR from demolishing the homes and evacuating them there from.
