Mumbai – Zee Talkies had maligned Laxman, Sita and Draupadi while advertising the programme ‘Zee Comedy Awards 2014’. This was deprecated by Mr. Satish Kochrekar HJS by writing a letter. Taking cognizance of the displeasure among devout Hindus, Zee Talkies has reverted stating that – they were cancelling the advertisement. (A small organization like HJS could make it only due to God’s support. Will the strong devout organisations take lesson from this and tell their activists to undertake spiritual practice ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1. The said programme was to be held on 5^th October. In that regard, incidents of abduction of Sita and disrobing of Draupadi were presented in a ridiculous manner in the advertisement.

2. In an incident, it is shown that Sita is talking with Laxman abusively and is ready to get abducted by Gabbar; whereas in the incident of disrobing Draupadi in Mahabharat, Ravan intervenes and Draupadi’s actions seem disgusting.

3. After having seen the advertisement, Mr. Kochrekar had written a letter on 23^rd August asking them to stop the objectionable advertisement and not to advertise any more in this manner.

4. While replying to the letter, Zee Talkies communicated as – “the said advertisement was made just for creating fun. There was no intention of hurting anyone’s religious sentiments. (Would Zee Talkies had ever dared to malign non-Hindus’ seats of faith like this ? So, should the Hindus look towards this incident as – ‘Since Hindus are not united, such kind of denigration takes place ?’ First hurt the feelings and on top, state that it was done for mere fun. Hindu Rashtra is a must for bringing a change in this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Yet we are stopping this advertisement to respect your disapproval. ‘Zee Talkies comedy awards 2014’ denigrates Hindu Deities

Oh Hindus, demand strongly for not broadcasting this program which denigrates our revered deities!

Mumbai, 29 August – Hindu deities Seeta, Lakshman & Draupadi are humiliated with their changed names in the program Zee Talkies Awards 2014 on the channel Zee Talkies. (Has Anti-Hindu Zee Talkies ever denigrated prophet or non-hindu deities ? It’s only because Hindus do not have unity, that their religious emotions are trampled in such a way ! Dear Hindus, protest against this denigration and protect the Dharma ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) This program is going to be broadcasted at 6.30 PM on 5th October. The advertisement of this program has anguished devout Hindus. Many devout Hindus are complaining against this advertisement to Zee channel.

In this respect, devout Hindu from HJS – Mr. Satish Kochrekar has written a protest letter addressing Zee that the channel is requested to omit the episodes where Hindu deities are denigrated. This objectionable part should be omitted. None of the channels of Zee or website should broadcast this Hindu intruding incident hence forth. (Congratulations to Mr. Satish Kochrekar who immediately protested to Zee channel in letter.
