DO NOT LEARN OR TEACH HINDUISM FROM WIKIPEDIA – GET PROFESSIONAL TRAINING INSTEAD

Most parents who double as teachers at temple schools are not trained to teach children. This seminar introduces teaching techniques, build capacity to teach and enables access to teaching resources.

ABOUT THE SEMINAR
American Hindu Academy cordially invites you to a Hinduism Teaching Seminar for Parent-Teachers. The seminar is aimed at developing comprehensive competencies in all aspects of teaching Hinduism to children at elementary, middle and high school grade levels. Workshop will cover curriculum, pedagogy and sources.

 

The workshop is free of cost.
The participants may buy a text-book titled “Hindu Dharma: A Teaching Guide” for $25 (limitied supply).
Participants must pay for their own lunch (directly to the Restaurant).

About the Teacher

Kamlesh Kapur, educator, author and researcher, Masters in Economics and Education, Secondary School Teacher in New York Public School System for two decades (now retired). She translated Bhagvad Gita in English for students. Her books include “Hindu Dharma—A Teaching Guide”, “The Lost Generation” and “Portraits of a Nation—History of Ancient India”
