Assertion of Hinduism! RSS to spread its ideology in Western countries 

08-rsspicNew Delhi, Oct 8: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh which is considered a parental organization of BJP is on expansion mode it seems. According to a Hindustan Times report, RSS will expand its base on international front and for that their leaders have made some plan. Apparently, buoyed by Modi at helm of affair in India and how he enamored diaspora in US, BJP’s ideological fountainhead is working hard in this direction. Aiming to establish link with various Hindu groups and to promote its ideology, reportedly RSS joint general secretary Dattatrey Hosbole has visited visited various places in Europe.

Report further writes that Hosbole had attended several programmes in France i.e visited the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram and couple of other similar organizations. To spread the ideology of RSS, he even travelled to the UK also. When asked about the veracity of reports, on the condition of anonymity one of senior RSS leader said that It is in the pipeline to expand Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) in France, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Italy and Finland. Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) is considered a part of RSS though leaders oppose this link up. According to wikipidea, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh is an organisation that promotes the unity of Hindus worldwide and helps them in “maintaining their Hinduness”.

In Britain it was established way back in1966 as a “RSS offshoot” . Report says that at present the organization has influence in 35 nations. It is being said that in recent years, BJP and other Hindu organizations have gained importance amongst Indian diaspora especially in North America. Many a times they donates for the organisation with the motive to control policy matter in India. Recently, Hindi and Hinduism debate came to fore after some of the hardcore leaders spoke assertively and aggressively on the matter. Though, they faced flak for disturbing communal fabric of the country. Ironically, Prime Minister Narendra Modi never spoke openly on the matter and even faced flak from opposition camp.
