Bajrang Dal takes out protest rally; ties effigy of Omar on jeep

JAMMU: State unit of Bajrang Dal on Friday staged protest against the statement given by the former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah seeking action against Major Gogoi.
Led by State President, Bajrang Dal, Rakesh Sharma, the activists assembled at Satwari Chowk and later took out a rally by tying the effigy of Omar Abdullah on a jeep.
The rally culminated at National Conference office, Residency Road where the protesters burned the effigy of Omar Abdullah for lowering the image of a national hero, Major Gogoi.
Sharma held National Conference responsible for the present turmoil in Kashmir Valley.
He reminded Omar Abdullah that he should not forget the fact that Kashmir problem is the creation of his family. “Whole Abdullah family is responsible for the Kashmir unrest,” he added.
Among those who joined the protest include Vicky Choudhary, Rohit, Parul, Pawan, Ranjeet, Aastik Kohli and others.
