A short vedio documentary on a research-based book entitled “Great Minds on India” by Salil Gewali, has been recently launched by a Mumbai-based media house —Manthanhub. This documentary in Hindi will again be adapted into English and other regional languages of India. The research-based book by Gewali is translated into eleven languages and the forward of the book is written by a world-acclaimed NASA chief scientist – Dr. Kamlesh Lulla of Houston, USA. The book has won the appreciation of many eminent scholars from across the world. The book is held as being one of its kind to showcase for the first time how the ancient wisdom of India inspired the thinkers, scientists and writers from the western world. During his research, Mr. Gewali had lived through many ups and downs and monetary hardship which he has emotionally described in his article in the book “My Discovery of India”.The first edition of the book was published in Xerox format in 1998; and the regular print edition was brought out in the year 2009. The book immediately attracted the attention of many scholars, and consequently, the then Governor of Meghalaya – RS Mooshahary personally consented to formally launch this landmark book. The title has also been recognized and officially launched by the Governor, Education Minister and Chief Minister of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
One scholar from Meerut says, “This book, as said by many scholars, is a Bhramastra to fight the evil of pseudo-secularism and anti-nation forces plaguing the country now! Firstly, this book should be gifted by Shri Narendra Modi-ji to all the top celebrities and diplomats – like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Rajni Kant, Manjul Bhargav, Laxmi Mittal, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Lata Mangeshkar, Navjot Singh Siddhu,…. When these celebrities will receive this unparalleled booklet they will themselves start speaking in the public forum about our so-far suppressed truths about INDIA as incorporated in Salil Gewali’s work. This finally will only and exclusively benefit the nation and our so-far misinterpreted and denigrated culture and its associated literature. Nobody can refute the words and opinions spoken by the world-renowned intellectuals like TS Eliot, Ralph Emerson, Voltaire, Goethe, Hegel, Herder, Schiller, Albert Einstein, Mark Twain, Carl Jung.”
The researcher Shri Salil Gewali lives in Shillong, Meghalaya, who regularly writes inspiring articles in order to create awareness about the ancient wisdom of India and its contribution to the world in the development of the modern science, mathematics, linguistics, metallurgy, psychology, and other areas of studies.
