Hindu leaders still under threat: Ramagopalan

hindu_munnaniHindu Munnani leader Ramagopalan claimed that leaders of Hindu organisations continued to get threat letters from extremists and that the government has not initiated necessary action.

“The government is more concerned about their minority vote bank from which we are receiving the threats and are ignoring our safety,” he said.

The HM leader was here on Sunday to chair a special state executive committee meeting to discuss arrangements for their seventh state-level conference here on June 7. He said that resolutions will be passed at the conference urging the government to pass anti-conversion bill, and initiate action against Love Jihad and Naxalism.

Mr. Ramagopalan said that their organisation will fight till the government returned temples under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department back to the people.

He urged the State Government to end slaughtering of cows.
