Hinduism 101 is an interactive, user-driven resource for learning how to teach about Hinduism according to your needs and at your own pace. We’ve partnered with educators and academics to create these free and accessible educational modules, so that everyone invested in teaching about Hinduism in an accurate and engaging way can do so easily and effectively.

Hindu deities are rich with symbolism, and Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, is no exception. The scripture she holds are the Vedas and represent knowledge, while the japa mala or beads represents discipline and concentration. To learn more about Saraswati’s symbolism, click here.

Click on any one of the pink lotuses and let Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, guide you through the Big Questions about Hinduism. Each of the Big Questions will open up to a set of topical modules, each with a primer, presentation, and other materials — all towards the end of providing a better understanding of Hinduism.

If you don’t feel like free-styling through the Big Questions, click here to follow HAF’s sequential curriculum, to learn about Hinduism in a more systematic manner, but still at your own pace.

Check out the library too for additional resources, including recommended readings and other interesting things to further your knowledge about Hinduism.
