Swami Govindadev Giriji Maharaj says, People from all across the world should come to India to study Vedas

 

Day 2 of the historic International Conference to Re-Establish Ideal Vedic India, organized by the Foundation for Vedic India and the Maharishi Ved Vyas Pratishthan and supported by the Brahma Vidya Peetham, commenced with the lightening of the lamp by Dr. John Hagelin (Ph.D. Quantum Physics), a world-renowned quantum physicist, educator, author, and President of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace.

Swami Govindadev Giriji Maharaj, the Founder & President Maharishi Vedvyas Pratishthan India – an institution dedicated exclusively to Vedic education and research, was one of the noteworthy speakers at the conference who said, “A nation is made by its people, land and traditions. People from all across the world should come to India to study Vedas.”

The conference also saw the presence of Dr. G. Madhavan Nair, President, International Academy of Astronautics & Former Chairman of India Space Research Organization (ISRO), who talked about the use of Veda’s in Mathematics and Dr. Saroj Bala (Ph.D.Sanskrit), Director, Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas, who informed on the scientific evidences of evolvement of science and culture since the Vedic Times.

Other prominent speakers for the day included Parama Pujya Swami Paramatmananda Saraswati, Secretary General Hindi Dharma Acharya Sabha; Swami Vishweshwarananda, President Sannyas Ashram;  His Excellency Joachim Alberto Chissano Rama, Former President of Mozambique; Dr. Robert Schneider, M.D.,F.A.C.C.; and Professor Tony Nader, M.D.Ph.D. in Brain & Cognitive Sciences. Also present at the conference on both the days were Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s international patron Ashok Singhal and Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Maharaj, Bhagawan Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math.
