Naval band to perform in Mumbai on Navy Day

MUMBAI: The Indian Naval Band plays a key role during various drills, ceremonies and leads the contingents proceeding to war. The celebrations ofNavy Day will start on November 8 at Hanging Gardens and will last till November 16 at Phoenix Mills in Parel.

Western Naval Command band has a vide variety of talented musicians and its performances will be a treat to the music lovers and children of the city. In the run-up to Navy Day, Navy Band will be performing for the public at open places to enable any interested citizen to attend and enjoy an evening of music.

Four public performances by the Navy Band have been arranged at the following places: Hanging Gardens on November 8, Cooperage Band Stand on November 9, Central Park in Kharghar on November 10 and Phoenix Mills in Parel on November 16. The performances will be between 6pm to 7pm.
