This year, P.P.Sarsanghchalak ji had personal meetings with more than 60 prominent persons and dignitaries. Prominent among them are Hon. Akhil Bhartiya Khel workshop
Akhil Bhartiya Khel workshop was held in Mumbai. Main topic of discussion was about new games and classification of games considering the various age groups of Swayamsevaks which attend the shakha. Almost 200 new games were considered. Videos of these games have been prepared for thr purpose of training.
Bouddhik Vibhag
The baithak of Prant Pramukhs of Bouddhik and Sharirik Vibhag was held in Jhansi in which the Akhil Bhartiya toli members also participated. The work of ‘Sanghathan Shreni’ was discussed in depth along with usual subjects.
The implementation of Bouddhik activities at district level, conducting Bouddhik programs in Shakha according to age groups and study circles were the subjects discussed in detail.
Vishesh Bouddhik prashikshan baithaks were held in 4 Kshetras. The Concept of development, social harmony and Hindutva were the three subjects discussed in these Baithaks.
Workshops at Prant level were organised to give practical demonstrations and training for the subjects of story telling, Prarthana [meaning and pronounciation],and Samachar Samiksha. 1661 karyakartas in 35 Prants participated in the Baithaks.
Special program
Column writers meet – Total 500 Column writers of Bharat are in the contact list of Prachar Vibhag. Three seminars were held this year. The subjects were – 1. Bharatiya view point on gender issues, 2. Secularism with reference to Bharat, 3. Current Scenario in North east –[ Assam and 6 other states of North east]. Total 230 column writers participated from 37 states.
Workshop for Social media– 76 Karyakarta from 35 Prants participated. As a follow up, training sessions were held at 78 places in which 2902 karyakartas were present. Currently 4044 Karyakartas from 256 places are active.
Regular program
Narad Jayanti – Programs were held at 135 places all over Bharat in which 649 journalists were felicitated. 3922 scribes and 17857 people attended these programs.
Jagaran Patrika– reaches in 2,31,282 villages throughout Bharat.
Electronic media workshop – Was arranged at 2 places in which 50 Karyakarta from 33 Prants participated.
Book selling drive was arranged in 36 Prant at 2443 places in which 18528 Karyakartas participated. Total 4,79,444 books were sold.
Prachar Vibhag Baithak was held in Nagpur for the editors and directors of Vishva Samvad Kendra, Jagaran Patrika, weekly magazines and publication houses. 183 Karyakartas from 39 Pratns participated.
Sampark Vibhag
The Sampark Vibhag tries to develop and maintain contacts with the opinion makers of the society. The representatives of various social fields like professionals, educationists, social activists, who have achieved success in these fields, act as catalysts for these contacts.
P. P. Sarsanghachalak ji and other senior Sangh Adhikaris try to have a one to one meeting with such persons. last year, Shri. Azim Pramji, Shri. Narayan Murthy, Pujya Shri Ravi Shankar ji, Pujya Mata Amrutanandmayi, Justice Krishna Ayyar, were some of the prominent people contacted. Such meetings continued this year also.
Sampark Vibhag organises seminars and discussions on concurrent issues. Prominent among such programs held last year were the seminar on ‘Cultural nationalism’ held at Bhagyanagar [Hyderabad] and the meeting of entrepreneurs arranged at Bangaluru .
Seva Vibhag
Various experiments are being done under the aegis of Seva Vibhag. 1,52,388 activities are conducted by the various Trusts and organisations run by Swayamsevaks in various states.
Rashtriya Sewa Bharati acts as an umbrella organisation at all Bharat level for all such activities.
“Sewa Sangam’ are organized by Rashtriya sewa Bharati in various states. Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Sangam was organised at Delhi from 3 to 5 April 2015. Shri. Subhash Chandra of Zee TV shouldered the responsibility of ‘Swagatadhyaksh’. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Pujya Mata Amrutanandmayi. Leading industrialist Shri. Azim Prem ji and the director of GSR group Hon. G. M. Rao were guests in the concluding ceremony. P. P. Sarsanghachalak Shri. Mohan ji Bhagwat, Ma. Sarkaryavah Shri. Bhayyaji Joshi, Sah-Sarkaryavah Shri. Dattatraya ji and Dr. Krishnagopal ji attended and addressed the delegates.

‘‘Tarunodaya-2015’’
On 1 March 2015, ‘Tarunoday 2015’ was organised at Rohatak, Haryana to boost the ‘Mahavidyalayin Vibhag’.
Preparation – ‘Shahidi day’ was celebrated on all Shakhas on 23 March 2014. introductory meetings for lecturers and professors were organised. The ‘ Akhand Bharat’ day was celebrated on 14th August 2014. District wise gatherings were held and meetings were organised at Nagar and Khand level. Total 6500 students were selected and registered for the final program. Students from 819 places attended the program.
Follow up – 180 Shakhas and 139 Saptahik Milan have been started for college students. 536 Students have been assigned responsibilities. Training was given to 583 Students. 26 students became ‘Vidyarthi Vistarak’ and 254 ‘Vistaraks [ for 1-2 weeks] ‘akhand Bharat’ day was celebrated at 115 places attended by 5037 students. Milans for professors and lecturers have started at 17 places.
On 28 November 2015, a one day drive for books sale was organised. Four books were selected for this purpose. The drive was conducted at 342 places in which 2200 Karyakartas participated. 350 sets of books worth Rs. 1000 each were prepared. Total 52000 books were sold on the day amounting to 6 lakh 50 thousand Rs.
Gram Sangama – 3-day conference at Bengaluru
A three day ‘Gram Sangam’ organised at ‘ Prashanti Kutiram’ on 12-14 June 2015 aimed at creative interaction between karyakartas active in the field of ‘Samagra Gram Vikas’ [Total village development]. Discussions were held on 18 subjects related to ‘Gram Vikas’. The subjects included organic farming, water harvesting, animal husbandry, environment, self help groups, family counselling, household therapies, health awareness etc.
The sessions included training also. All participants resolved to make their village self sufficient and free of all vices like intoxication, discrimination, untouchability, etc.
In the entire ‘Gram Sangam’ organic food was utilized. The farmers of Tumkur district who are doing total organic farming had volunteered to prepare and provide food to all participants. Plastic and Tharmacol were entirelt prohibited in the campus. The Saffron flag hoisted at the campus was made from the organically produced cotton. An exhibition displayed and illustrated various subjects related to ‘Gram Vikas’.
1819 people participated from 673 villages of 13 districts in the ‘Gram Sangam’. There were 1238 men and 581 women participants. 70 youth under the age of 35 years also participated.
Renowned social worker dr. Balsubramhanyam inaugurated the program. Akhil Bharatiya Gram Vikas Pramukh Dr. Dinesh ji, Vyavastha Pramukh Shri. Mangesh ji Bhende and Sah- Bouddhik Pramukh Shri. Mukund ji addressed the program in various sessions.
Shivshakti Sangam, Pune, Paschim Maharashtra
A mammoth gathering of Swayamsevaks in uniform, of Paschim Maharashtra Prant, ‘Shivshakti Sangam’, was organised on 3 January 2016 in the august presence of P. P. Sarsanghachalak Ma. Mohan ji Bhagwat. The aim of the program was organisational expansion. It has been a success.
Preparation
The planning started about 1 and half years before the program. Every month a gathering was arranged at Upkhand and Nagar level. The ‘ Hindu Samraya Din utsav’ of June 2015 was held at all mandals and in every basti of cities. The ‘Sankalp Purti Din’ was organised on 21 June 2015 at 773 Shakhas from 238 Sthan, 504 Saptahik Milan and 50 Sangh Mandali. In a meeting of all ex- prachraks, it was planned that all of them shall go as ‘vistaraks’ in the places where they have worked as Pracharaks. In September 2015 the sangh Karyakartas of district level and above went as vistaraks in 130 Khand. Sanchalans were held at Khand and Nagar level. 23,169 Swayamsevaks participated at 194 places in sanchalan. The saints as well as social and religious leaders of the Prant were contacted. Ma. Prant Sanghachalak visited all major temples to invite the presiding deity. Registration was done in two phases from 31 August to 20 December. 1 lakh 60 thousand Swayasevaks registered for the program from 5700 villages [ 57% of total villages of Prant].
Highlights
6500 Swayamsevaks and 500 sisters participated in the management of program.
3000 people from Scheduled tribes attended.
A special Ghosh tune prepared for the program ‘Shivshakti’ was played by 1048 Swayansevaks.
15,000 leaders of various sects, castes and temples attended the program due to the special efforts of Sampark Vibhag. All newspapers and electronic media channels extensively covered the program. Journalists of international media were present. The program was covered by media of about 30-35 countries.

Every Participant Swayamsevak to contact 10 houses on the occasion of ‘Makar Sankranti’.

Extensive Meetings, Karnataka Uttar
Karnataka Uttar Prant organised Khand Baithaks for the expansion of work and to increase the number of active swayamsevaks.
Along with Sewa, Sampark and Prachar Vibhag work, it was aimed that the active participation of Swayamsevaks should increase in activities like Gram Vikas, Goseva, Kutumb Ptrabodhan and Dharma jagaran according to the requirement and attitude of Swayamsevak. The focus was on the Swayamsevaks in the rural areas. The exercise was quite a success. As a follow up, training for various subjects is being planned.
There were baithaks in 82 Khand. 2124 villages were represented. 12269 karyakartas attended the Baithaks including 4216 new entrants.
Khandashah Ekatrikaran Devgiri
One year before, Devgiri Prant had organised ‘ Maha Sangam’. As a result there is good growth in number of Shakhas, Saptahik Milans and Sangh Mandalis. In 2015-16 the Prant has planned Khand level meetings. Till now, 102 Khand and 23 Nagar have successfully organised the meetings. There was emphasis on uniform and sharirik program. All meetings have been imprressive.
Total 41545 Karyakartas from 2985 villages and 887 Mandals were present. More than 35000 citizens including women attended the programs.
Satpuda Sangam, Nandurbar, Devgiri Prant
To enhance the dialogue between various sections of Hindu society in the Satpuda mountain range and to create awareness on the problems created by the activities of non Hindu forces in the tribal region, “Satpuda Sangam’ was organised at Nandurbar on 14 January 2016. A committee was formed for the purpose which was presided by the ex deputy DGP of police Shri. Madhukar Gavit. ‘Vikas Ratna’ Shri. Chaitram Pawar from Baripada village of Dhule district was the working president. About 70000 Hindus from almost 1100 villages of the districts of Dhule, Jalgaon and Nandurbar participated. The majority of them were tribal people with representation of each and every tribe of the area. Women also attended in large numbers. The procession before the program in the presence of saints was attended by 18000 people. The entire Nandurbar city participated in the program and the markets remained closed voluntarily.
Preparation ‘Samajik Sadbhav Baithak’ were arranged at 11 places attended by leaders of various tribes. Various organisations working in the tribal areas were contacted and consulted and various issues facing the tribal people. Village level meetings were also held in many villages.
P. P. Sarsanghachalak ji and Shri Shri 1008 Swami Vishveranand ji of Sanyas Ashram, Mumbai inspired the gathering by their presence and guidance. Three points were emphasised.
1. A harmonious and strong Hindu society can address the global problems.
2. Tribal people are custodians of our culture.
3. we will have to strengthen the unity while respecting all the diversities.Satpuda Sangam has proved to be a success.
Shakha Toli Shivir, Avadh
To Strengthen the Shakha and to increase the activity of Shakha Toli, Shakha toli shibir was held at two places in Avadh Prant. Ma. Sar-Karyavah ji attended both the Shibirs.

There is an increase in the number of toliyukta Shakhas after the Shibirs. 236 Shakhas conducted their ‘Varshikotsav’.
Swami Vivekanand Jayanti was celebrated in the Mahakaushal Prant as ‘Samuhik Shram Sadhana’. Total 22900 Swayamsevaks participated in voluntary cleaning drive of lakes, river beds, public hospitals, schools, temples etc. The people also participated in good numbers.
Gram Vikas Karyakarta Sammelan, Gujarat
It was held in ‘Mansa’ village near gandhinagar. 411 Karyakartas from 137 villages of 45 Khand in 7 districs attended the sammelan. Organic farming, water harvesting, Cow products etc were discussed along with actual demonstrations and training. The sharing of experiences was also useful. Three more such programs are planned in the future.
Samajik Sadbhav Baithak
Samajik Sadbhav Baithak was held in the presence of Ma. Sar- Karyavah ji. 183 prominent persons from 74 castes and sects were present. Concurrent issues were discussed in constructive manner.
Samarasta Mah, Madhya Bharat
January 2016 was celebrated as Samrasta month and various initiatives were taken.
Samrasta week [ 3 to 10 January] and maximum attendance day on Shakhas – 29479 Swayamsevaks attended in 1208 Shakhas. The book let ‘Hindavaa Sodara Sarwe’ was read on all shakhas.
Nagar Ekatrikaran– held in 160 Nagars attended by 11451 Tarun + 3228 Bal = 14679 A speech on ‘Samajik Samarasta’ in each program.
Village survey – water resources, cremation facilities and temples were surveyed in 9603 villages. The survey shows that 8463 water resources, 7453 temples and 7824 cremation facilities were open to all people.
1334 Swayamsevaks worked as short term vistaraks [ 3 to 7 days]
Follow up – Samarasta yagya was organized in 99 Nagar, total participants including women and youth = 35201 Representatives of various castes and sects participated in the committee for Yagya and Yagya.
National Scenario:-
1) Women and Temple entry :- In the last few days, some social elements inimical to the wellbeing of the society have raised an unsavoury controversy over women’s entry to temple. From the hoary past, we have been following a lofty tradition in which, in the religious and spiritual spheres, in matters of worship and piety, both men and women are naturally considered to be equal partners. Generally, both men and women are naturally permitted entry into the temples without any discrimination. Women also have been learning the Vedas and officiating as priests in temples in the natural course.
However, because of some unfair traditions, at certain places there has been a lack of consensus on the question of temple entry. Wherever such problems exist, attempts should be made to bring about a change of mind through proper discussions. It has to be borne in mind that such sensitive issues should not be politicised, and should be resolved only through discussion and dialogue, and not through agitations.
From the point of view of social well-being, through the joint efforts of social and religious leadership, and the temple administration, attempt should be made to bring about a change in mentality at every level.
2) Security Agencies are target of anti national forces:- Repeated attacks being made targeting the Security Agencies in the last few decades, has become a big challenge to our security arrangements. Our security forces have been successful in repulsing all such attempts made by our enemies, through their valiant fight. The latest example of such attacks is the one made against our Pathankot Air Force Base recently.
It is necessary to further tighten the security arrangements and make them foolproof so as to ensure that such incidents are not repeated anymore. Reviewing the efficiency of the Security Forces, the materials at their disposal, as also the officers in charge, necessary changes should be made.
To curb activities such as Illegal migration, smuggling, Pak-inspired terrorism, such activities should be strictly observed for taking remedial action. With this view, it is necessary to review the infrastructural facilities to develop border areas, border security, and the materials, from time to time.
It seems that Pakistan’s India policy is decided by the Military Establishment and not by the elected government. The incidents from Mumbai to Pathankot testify this. Presently, the whole world is concerned about the growing menace of terrorism.
3) Growing Communal frenzy in the country :- Incidents of violence and terrorist attacks at different places in the country have become a matter of grave concern for the patriotic and peace-loving people, and the law and order machinery. Under the pretext of small and big issues, people at different places, armed with weapons taking to the roads in large numbers and creating an atmosphere of fear and tension, as happened in Malda, has become endemic now a days.
Incidences of destruction of public and private property, attacking the police force throwing the rule of law to the winds, looting and burning of business establishments, especially those run by Hindus, had taken place. Political parties, giving up their policy of appeasement, should take such incidents seriously and cooperate to restore the law and order situation and peace. This will be possible only when political parties and the ruling parties shed their petty and parochial political interests, and make a combined effort in the right direction. No political party or person is more important than the national security. It is the responsibility of an efficient and strong government to instill confidence in the people about their security.
(4) University Campuses become hotbed of antinational activities :- In the last few months, reports about antinational and subversive activities in certain universities, has become a matter of concern. When renowned and premier universities, which are expected to groom patriotic citizens by imparting them the lessons of unity and integrity generate people who raise the slogan calling for breaking of and destroying the nation, this naturally becomes a matter of concern for the patriotic people. When they find certain political parties supporting such antinational elements, their concern grows further.
In the name of freedom of expression, how the slogans calling for the breaking up of and destruction of the nation, can be tolerated, and how the guilty, who had hatched the conspiracy to blow up the national Parliament, can be honoured as martyrs? Doing so it, itself will be treated as an antinational act. Those who do such things have no faith in our Constitution, judiciary, Parliament, etc. These subversive elements have made these universities the centres of their activities for long.
It is very delightful that the moment the reports about these incidents became public, there was all round condemnation from everywhere. We expect from the Central and State governments to deal strictly with such antinational and antisocial forces and ensure the sanctity and cultural atmosphere by not allowing our educational institutions to become centers of political activities.
Such incidents that pollute the social environment are sure to affect the social life.
The change that took place in the political sphere last year, has made people in Bharat and the Bharatiyas living abroad happy and proud. This mood has been discernible in programmes conducted by people of Indian origin in other world countries.
At the global level, the celebration of the “Yoga Day” by a majority of world nations is an indication of the acceptance of Bharatiya spiritual thought and way of life by the world at large.
The expectations of our people have naturally increased and an atmosphere of confidence has developed. Therefore we expect those who are in power to accelerate the process that has paved the way for this new-found confidence and make it more pronounced.
The acceptance the nationalist discourse has been gaining steadily and the resultant unease among the antinational and antisocial forces has come to light through certain recent incidents. The antinational activities at the Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) University and the J.N.U. have thoroughly exposed their conspiracy.
