Representation submitted to MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde demanding passing of act banning cow-slaughter

Representation being submitted by devout hindus to Dr. Shrikant Shinde, MP.

Kalyan (Maharashtra) : Gou-mata, an abode of 33 crores of Deities (attracts principles of all Deities), is revered by Hindus. In this country of ‘Gou-pujaks (cow-worshippers)’, 2.40 crore cows and cattle are slaughtered every year in 33, 600 legal and illegal slaughter-houses. In 1947, there were 90 crores cows/ cattle; the number has reduced to only 1 crore now and out of 128 species, only 18 species are left.

An Act imposing ban on cow-slaughter should therefore, be passed all over the country, destroying all legal and illegal slaughter-houses. The important issue of infiltration of Bangladeshis should be taken up in Parliament so as to do justice to all Indian citizens. A representation with the above demands was submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Shiv Sena MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, elected from Kalyan constituency, in the presence of Shri. Neeraj Singh, District-Minister of VHP, Shri. Amit Mishra, Shri. Mahendra Verma, Shri. Sachin Mirakeri, Shri. Manish Yadav, Hindu Mahasabha’s Shri. Amol Desai and HJS members viz. Shri. Balwant Pathak and Shri. Yogesh Pradbudesai.
