Saints demand government to clarify its stand on Ram Mandir issue

Ujjain :  A religion conference was organised at the camp of saint Ramkamal Das to brainstorm on prevailing problems of present era here at Mangalnath zone on Saturday afternoon. The programme was attended by several premier saints of different Akharas among others.

The agenda of the conference was ‘What Sanatan Dharma achieved and lost after independence of the country’ and stopping cow slaughter. However, the entire conference was dominated by the issue of construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya. The saints from the stage of saint Ramkamal Das demanded the Union government to clear their stand on the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya and reiterated their pledge of starting the construction work of the temple from November 8 at Ramjanmabhoomi despite the ban order by Supreme Court.  Saint Ramkamal Das (popularly known as Vedanti Maharaj) presided over the conference and also supported the demand of Ram Mandir in his address.

The saint said, our country has progressed a lot in worldly means, but failed to progress spiritually…today’s youths are lagging behind in morals and they need guidance of the saint community. Mulook Pithadhishwar Rajendra Das, Rajeshwaranand Saraswati, Fooldol Bihari Das, Harinand Das, Satua Baba and Shankracharya of Bhaanpura Peeth were also present in the conference.
