VHP & Bajrang Dal activists protest against kidnapping of medical students, looting and assault on policemen by muslim radicals

Udupi, 4 Jan, 2014 : Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) and Bajrang Dal units of Shirva – Mattar staged a mega protest at Shirva bus stand, near here on Thursday January 2, condemning the Deralakatte incident of kidnapping of medical students to make blue films, looting and assault on policemen.

Addressing the protesters, Udupi district VHP president Baikady Suprasad Shetty said that muslim radical youth are luring Hindu girls in the guise of love jihad, illegally transporting livestock, are not sternly dealt with by the policemen under Gooda Act, owing to the pressures of state ministers from undivided Dakshina Kannada district.  The Muslim youth who are responsible for Deralakatte incident are royally treated in the prison, while the police are arresting Hindu youth under Goonda Act.  If the state government introduces anti-superstition Billa, the traditional practices in worship centers will gone oblivious.  Hindu organizations are capable of opposing anti-Hindu laws because of vote bank politics manifested by state government, said Shetty.

Bajrang Dal district convener Sunil K R, district Go Pramuk Dinesh Mendon, Mattar VHP president Ramesh Prabhu, Bajrang Dal president Jayaprakash Prabhu, Giridar Prabhu Shirva, Dhiraj Shetty, Umesh Nayak Sooda, Sudarshan Mattar, Dinesh Mattar, Ravindra Shetty Kollabettu, the activists from Moodubelle, Kutyar, Shirva and Kalattur were present.
