Police arrest 11 devout Hindus opposing conversion attempts

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : Christian missionary Amol Kadam and auto rickshaw driver Jaisingh Kubde had organized prayer meeting in Temblaiwadi slum area for conversion of Hindus. Hindus from the area opposed to the prayer meeting as they came to know about it. They asked Christian missionaries to leave; but missionaries abused them in foul language. They threw chairs and other things at Hindus to hurt them. As a result, the enraged mob thrashed two missionaries. Thereafter, police nabbed 6 Hindus including one minor Hindu and arrested them by registering charges under irrelevant clauses against them. Pro-Hindu activists waited outside Rajarampuri police station for release of the 6 Hindus. Police Inspector Amrut Deshmukh called Shri. Vijay Gulwe, Digvijay Mali, Tushar Patil and Sachin Salunkhe  of Sree Shiva-Pratishthan, Shivanand Swami of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti to the police station on 3rd April at 6.00 p.m. and arrested even them. A case has been filed against them under clauses 295 (A), 296, 323, 143, 147 and 149 of Indian Penal Code. Police informed other devout Hindus about these arrests when they had gone to police station. (Have police taken such action against any non-Hindus ? Today, Hindus have no savior; therefore, injustice is done to them. There is no alternative to establishment of Hindu Rashtra for changing this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) There is a wave of anger amongst pro-Hindu activists. (Only expressing anger is of no use. Hindus need to raise their voice against such things, in lawful manner, with unity ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
