Sojourn to Pakistan Pak govt initiates measures to protect Hindu temples

Ujjain: The Pakistani government has initiated certain steps for the protection and conservation of Hindu temples following international pressure on the elected government.

Life Management mentor Pt Vijay Shankar Mehta, who delivered discourses on Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta for three days at Hayat Pitafi area of Sindh state recently, gave this information during a press conference at Press Club here on Friday.

Pt Mehta and his wife were a part of the 79- member group which visited Pakistan as per the Indo- Pak treaty under the guidance of Shadani Darbar’s saint udhishthirlal.

According to Pt Mehta, not only the Sindhi domiciles of Pakistan, but a considerable number of Muslim citizens and government servants also joined the discourses. “ They took deep interest in scientific origins of yoga as well as the capacity of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in delivering the message of love and goodwill,” he pointed out.

During the visit, he also found ancient building depicting the names like ‘ Ram Bhavan’, ‘ Laxmi Chowk’, “ Luv Mandir’ etc.
