Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad), Andhra Pradesh  K. Chandrashekhar rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana State has been busy in appeasing fanatics. On 20th July, Sunday, local traditional festival known as ‘Bonalu’ was celebrated. In a close by mosque, reading of ‘namaz’ was going on; therefore, police halted the procession taken out by Hindus, for one hour on the road, on the occasion of their festival and it was allowed to proceed only after ‘namaz’ was over. Few days back, CM K Chandrashekhar rao had agreed to treat this ‘Bonalu’ festival as national festival; but the State Government has not granted any facility for this festival.
