Dear Friends,

Subject: America’s Current Love Story With Islam And Inimical Past

Today, we have embarked upon a critical subject. Those of you have been following our stories, will recall the reference to the great study on “Russia First To Muslim First”, presented to you on June 19, 2014. That was based on Diana West’s brilliant book: “American Betrayal: The Secret Assault On Our (US) Nation’s Character”, a real candid account of America flirting with the Islamic Brotherhood, who had replaced the Jews in the US administration, since 1930s.

We are now in possession of a detailed note (attached with link given for perusal at leisure) on how the Americans had fought off Islam tooth and nail when the country was born. The Islamists at that time were marauders or simple Muslim pirates, selling slaves and demanding protection money. The United States suffered that for long, Ultimately, Thomas Jefferson, the third American President, thought enough was enough and decided to fight this out against even frightened in-house opposition:

Islam, and what its Barbary followers justified doing in the name of their prophet and their god, disturbed Jefferson quite deeply. America had a tradition of religious tolerance. The fact that Jefferson, himself, had co-authored the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, but fundamentalist Islam was like no other religion the world had ever seen. A religion based on supremacism, whose holy book not only condoned but mandated violence against unbelievers was unacceptable to him. His greatest fear was that someday this brand of Islam would return and pose an even greater threat to the United States.

It is of interest that an Ambassador of Tripoli (one of the extortionist Islamic countries) had even at that time justified Islamic violence, quoting scriptural sanction: Islam “was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

Well, friends, in the context of today’s fight with the ISIS led by the US, the mail, therefore, rightly raises the question, “Is this history repeating itself?” Perhaps, so.

Vandemataram,

Your sevak,

D.C. Nath

(Former Spl. Director, IB)
