Pak & Bangladesh Hindu Human rights:National Hindu Movement Launched in Goa

Bicholim (Goa) : Hindus from Pakistan and Bangladesh are taking shelter in Bharat to save their lives because of the atrocities meted out by the above said nations to Hindu minorities for the past few decades. The Government machinery is trying to send these Hindus back to Pakistan/Bangladesh either due to expiry of their passports or for not possessing passport. Hindu refugees have been treated as criminals by Bharatiya Government and that is why they are in a very pitiable condition. In order to let the Hindu refugees get citizenship of Bharat, so also get all the facilities of rehabilitation, demonstrations were staged near the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Bicholim, on the evening of 5th January on behalf of National Hindu Movement. Other local demands like putting an immediate stop to gambling activities during Jatrotsav and Kalotsav of temples, cow slaughter and conversions in the name of ‘Healing’, were also made on the occasion.

The demonstration commenced with the vehicle-rally of seekers acquitted in the Madgao bomb blast case through Bicholim city at 3 pm. The vehicle-rally commenced from the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj after worshipping the Dharma-dhwaj at the hands of Mr. Gajanan Bordekar. Thereafter, the rally proceeded through Shardanagar-Sudhanagar-KTC bus stand-Goakerwada-Aatilpeth and later culminated at the statue of Shivaji Maharaj. Sanatan’s seeker Shri. Dilip Mangaoker who was acquitted in the bomb blast case expressed his feelings. Later, demonstrations started at 4 pm, after offering a prayer to the Sthandevata, breaking a coconut and blowing the conch shell, near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue. In the beginning, a garland was offered to the statue of Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaj at the hands of a devout Hindu. Shri. Govind Chodankar explained the objectives of the National Hindu Movement.  Hindus should unite to stop the attacks on Hindus and awareness should be created in this regards, said Shri. Chodankar. Speakers present on the occasion also expressed their views. Following demands were made on the occasion, viz. refugees coming into Bharat should be given free shelter, educational facilities, reserved seats in employment; the Government should immediately sign all the international agreements regarding refugees in order to provide justice to Hindus. None of the Hindus should be forced to go to Pakistan on the pretext of expiry of their passport or any other reason for that matter. It was also stated there that a memorandum in this regards will be submitted to the Government. The compeering of the demonstration was done by Shri. Satyavijay Naik.
