Savannah Hindu community hosts special service, dinner for Indian guest

Children offer a blessing.

Savannah’s Hindu community and the Vallabh Youth Organization hosted an inspirational service and dinner for special guest and Indian priest Shri Vrajrajkumarji Mahodayshri on Wednesday at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church.

Mahodayshri has uplifted the spirits of thousands of young children and adults all over the world, building in them confidence to face a materialistic world.

He spoke to over 200 attendees on the subject of improving one’s action in life with devotion and faith in God. He was the guest as part of a special Hindola festival, which refers to a symbol of Lord Krishna in a suspended swing. The children of the local VYO performed a drama, “a glimpse of Lord Krishna’s divine life.”

Event organizer Amisha Patel said, “It was a blessing to all who attended, receiving the blessing of Lord Krishna in the company of Shri Mahodayshri.” A dinner followed the service.
