Shiv Sena leaders urge Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation to clean Navi Mumbai

NAVI MUMBAI: Shiv Sena has urged the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) to deal with increasing cases of dengue, malaria and other health hazards faced by the residents of the city.A delegation of local Sena corporators along with city leaders, met NMMC commissioner A Jarhad and submitted a memorandum to him on health and garbage issues of the city.The delegation has asked the corporation to intensify its garbage cleaning process and fogging exercise to control the rise in malaria and dengue cases.

They also demanded that NMMC should run more awareness drives on health issues and precautions that citizens need to take.

If NMMC fails to implement the demand, then the party will be forced to handle the issue in ‘Sena style’, said the media release issued by the local party office.
